ORTEM HELLAS participated with its humanoid robot Pepper in the open event organized by the Consumer Protection Center (KEPKA) on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the intersection of Tsimiski and Aristotelous streets in Thessaloniki.

During the event, KEPKA executives informed the public about the free counseling services they provide to households for the prevention and management of debt and over-indebtedness. Pepper was there alongside them, communicating with citizens, answering questions, and participating in interactive quizzes, making the information more accessible and interesting.

The initiative is part of the European program “DashBoard” (Debt Advice Services Heading the Breaking of a Debt Loop), which is implemented by KEPKA with the aim of informing, guiding, and supporting over-indebted households.

The presence of the Pepper robot at the event demonstrated how modern technology can be used to have a meaningful social impact, bringing robotics closer to citizens and strengthening information and awareness-raising activities.

ORTEM HELLAS continues to support initiatives that combine innovation with social contribution, promoting the use of robots in information, education, and citizen service activities.
