The 1st International Humanoid Robot Olympiad was held in Ancient Olympia, bringing together robots, technology, research teams, and companies from around the world in a venue with unique symbolism. ORTEM HELLAS S.A. participated in the event as an exhibitor, presenting robots and solutions we have developed for tourism, hospitality, education, and entertainment.

The aim of our presence was to highlight how social robots can be used in practice: from tourist guides and digital receptionists to robots that support educational and recreational activities in schools, hotels, and cultural environments. Our booth served as a point of contact, information, and dialogue on what social robotics means.

During the event, we watched demonstrations by humanoid and non-humanoid robots, with examples such as soccer, shadow boxing, archery, and running by quadrupedal robots, highlighting the current capabilities of autonomy, balance, and spatial perception. At the same time, we participated in talks and workshops that presented the latest developments in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, biomimetics, and human-machine interaction.

In addition to technology, the event provided a platform for individuals and teams with a genuine vision. Visitors, partners, students, and professionals in the field had the opportunity to see our robots up close, interact with them, and discuss their potential applications in real-world scenarios.

We would like to warmly thank Minas Liarokapis for the invitation and hospitality, as well as everyone who visited our space and contributed with their presence and ideas.
